Our family resides in Chesapeake, VA, with three acres backed right up to The Great Dismal Swamp. We share our home and land with a multitude of animals: a horse, two goats, dozens of chickens, nine cats, two dogs, and a duck. We were first were introduced to the Newfoundland breed almost 5 years ago, leading to the adoption of Mindy, our first Newfie. During our years of life with Mindy, we have found these "gentle giants" to be the very picture of sweetness.
